When people say what they'd do if they won the lottery, their answers are fairly unimaginative: mansion, boat, and student loans.

As a different take on Lottery, we created the Department of Imagination, a state department whose role is to help Washintonian's expand their minds when it comes to winning.

We built a real, 5 person motorcycle to show what you could do if you’re friends won.

The bike made stops at South Center Mall, Sea-Tac International Airport, and other locations around Seattle before landing in a local museum.

Social Media Case Study

We took a different spin on the lottery and encouraged Washingtionites to simply use their imagination to the best of it’s crazy ability. Ticket sales rose, Facebook Likes soared, and we had the most social interaction in the history of every lottery in the U.S.

Imagination Is Our Greatest Resource

Most people don’t know the reason for Washington’s Lottery existing, and that’s to help fund our children’s educations.

Powerball and Mega Millions billboards displaying the current jackpots are stale, and get little notice. So, we made them move.

Passerbyers could tweet what they’d do if they won, and the best were put up on the board. To help people imaginate, we covered the bus in a wall paper of thought starters.

Visitors to Pandora could receive “Imagination Starters” to help train their imagination.
